DAY 01:NAIROBI
Welcome to Kenya, a country full of flora and fauna. On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, our Airport Representative will meet you and after greetings, you will be transferred to your city hotel - Southern Sun Mayfair. Overnight at Southern Sun Mayfair or similar hotel in Nairobi.(BB)
DAY 02, NAIROBI-MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
After breakfast, drive across the Suswa plains into Narok town and proceed to the famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch at Mara Sopa Lodge. Later in the afternoon you will go for a game viewing drive. An after noon game viewing drive will doubtless offer a sight of the black-mannedlion for which the Mara is famous, sheltering from the heat. Return to the lodge at sunset. Dinner and Overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge or similar (FB).
DAY 03, MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
Breakfast in the hotel, rest of the day is free. You can enjoy an optional early morning balloon safari in Maasai Mara so as to get a good view from above or go for an early morning game viewing drive, spot theBig Five of Africa in their natural habitat, and watch Crocodiles lying in wait for the animals that will come to the river to drink. Hippos usually leave the water to graze in the late evening or night; the heat of the sun is harmful to their skin so they spend the day swimming or submerged in the shallow water. All meals and Overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge or similar (FB).
DAY 04, MAASAI MARA-LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast depart for Nakuru National Park. Leaving Mara, you travel east with spectacular views along the way and onto Lake Nakuru, coloured by a shimmering flamingo pink from thousands of the beautiful birds lining its shores. You will arrive in time for lunch at your Lodge and after some time to relax, set out for an afternoon game viewing drive in the Park. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge or similar (FB)
DAY 05, LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK-ABERDARES NATIONAL PARK
Breakfast at the Lodge. Continue with a drive via the Nyahururu Falls, formerly Thomson Falls, to the Aberdare Country Club. Lunch at the Club. Afternoon transfer into Aberdare National Park and on to The Ark Lodge for bird watching and overnight floodlit game viewing from the lodge viewing decks. Dinner and overnight at The ArkLodge or similar (FB).
DAY 06, ABERDARES - MOUNT KENYA
After breakfast, our destination today is the cool, crisp Kenyan highlands and the historic Mount Kenya Safari Club, set in over 100 acres of landscaped gardens. This exclusive resort offers an experience of refined elegance and luxury, as well as a sense of old Hollywood in its glamorous past. Fine dining,warm hospitality and superb accommodations of suites or cottages are hallmarks of a stay here. Overnight stay at Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club. (FB).
DAY 07, MOUNT KENYA – NAIROBI - DEPART
Breakfast at the club and thereafter drive back to Nairobi. You will arrive in Kenyas bustling capital city in time for Lunch at Karen Coffee Garden, visit Karen Blixen Museum and Giraffe Centre in the afternoon. Later we will drop you to the airport to board your flight back home, come back with happy memories of the tour.
