Brisbane (Queensland):

Queensland Cultural Centre: Set on the south bank of the Brisbane River, the centre houses the State’s Art Gallery, Performing Arts Complex, Museum and Library.

Moreton Island: Located 50 km north-east of Brisbane,it is a large sand mass with 40 km of beach. The large national park area is rich in flora and fauna and includes the world’s highest sand dune. Sunshine Coast: It is 96 km north of Brisbane. A chain of sandy beaches beginning at Caloundra and including Noosa Heads, the Cooloola Coast, Maroochydone, The Glasshouse Mountains and the Black all Range hinter land. Fraser Island: 290 km north of Brisbane, stretching over 120 km, it is the largest sand island in the world and is World Heritage-listed. Enjoy bush walking, camping, swimming in the ocean or one of the numerous lakes found on the island and observe the unique wildlife here.
