Day 1: Fly in to London

Fly in to London and be greeted by our Plan Journeys tour representative who escorts you to your hotel accommodation. Relax and then set out on foot to explore neighborhood attractions or simply ride the underground.

Day 2: London Royal tour

A hearty English breakfast over, you set out on a tour to the royal spots of London.The group stops by at Buckingham Palace, home to the Queen and admires the lovely collection of memorabilia including priceless jewels and paintings. Then it is time to view Changing of the Guard, a picturesque event.We then go on to the Kensington Palace and its lovely Kensington gardens. The other sites that we visit next include The Tower of London, the Household Cavalry Museum, the Royal Museum in Greenwich, the Hampton Court Palace and the magnificent St Paul’s Cathedral. Back to hotel in the evening and at night again you set out on your night tour of London on an open top bus to get a full view of London night life.

Day 3:  Parks day in London

After a scrumptious breakfast we set out to explore some of the most famous parks and gardens of London. We start off with a visit to Hyde Park spread over 1.5 miles of lush green acreage, dating back to the 1600s. There is plenty to do here by way of boating and viewing the birds on the Serpentine. Next on our list is Regent’s Park covering over 400 acres, once the stomping ground of royalty. Visit the London Zoo, enjoy local food and music and admire the beautiful rose garden while you enjoy some yummy ice cream too. With a visit to the St James Park ends our Parks day tour of London. This park is home to charming deer and wildfowl clustered around the central lake. The night is reserved for a Medieval Banquet lasting 3 hours where you can gorge on sumptuous spread while entertainers keep you enthralled and you quaff wine or beer as you please.

Day 4: The Squares of London

Recharged for the day post a delicious breakfast, you set out to explore the Squares for which London is so famous. Leicester Square,London’s entertainment centre with plenty of theatres, restaurants and bars as well as casinos, then Soho Square, Trafalgar Square are the sites we cover first followed by Covent Garden Piazza where you might get to view a truly memorable street performance and you will have a lovely time inside the Market building, snacking or buying craft items. At one end you will find the famous Royal Opera House and Bow Street,home to classic performances. Take a backstage tour. Return to your room for rest and spruce yourself up for some evening entertainment. Today you visit four nightclubs and party until midnight.

Day 5:  Museum Day

Gorge on a gourmet breakfast and set out to visit the Museums starting with the British Museum that houses modern and prehistoric artifacts including the Rosetta Stone, mummies and the Parthenon sculptures.The museums that follow next on our list are the Design Museum, the Imperial War Museum, The London Transport Museum, The Museum of London, the world’s largest one, Natural History Museum. Back to the hotel to rest a bit and get ready for the night tour. Today it is the night tour of London with a visit to the Tower, lighted up in all its glory after which you might want to buy tickets for the theatre.

Day 6: Boat ride on the Thames

The mist barely disperses as you breakfast and set out to board a river boat for a ride on the Thames.The ride takes you to the London Bridge, Southwark Cathedral and Borough Market as well as gets you a bird’s eye view of the city from the famous Shard. After lunch you have the entire afternoon and evening at your leisure to stroll around on the streets of London or admire the beauty of the Thames at evening

Day 7: London departure

Next day after an early breakfast, you go on to Picadilly Circus, have your photograph taken by the status of Eros, explore Regent’s Street or shop in Soho and then return to pack. Our tour representative helps you find transportation to the airport because the tour ends today.
