Panaji – Capital city of Goa, also known as Panjim, is the tourist hub of Goa, with infrastructure designed in Portuguese style, the town is peaceful and laid back. Situated on left bank of river Mandovi, Panji offers some great close-by attractions of Goa to the tourists like Goa State Museum,The Church of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception, Fort Aguada, Casinos like –Deltin Royale, Casino Pride, etc., Fontainhas – to witness the traditional Portuguese architecture, Basilica of Bom Jesus, Se Cathedral and don’t forget to enjoy an evening cruise on River Mandovi with DJ music, dance and fun onboard.

Mandovi River – located in Panjim city, the river Mandovi is famous for its sunset cruises. Fort Aguada – Overlooking Sinquerim Beach and the Arabian Sea, this Fort was built in the early 16thcentury by Portuguese, with breathtaking view of the surroundings it is one of the best places to visit in North Goa. When you visit here, don’t miss the view of lighthouse and largest Jail in Goa, both of which have become must see attractions in themselves.

Travelers Tip: Try to visit the Aguada Fort between 0830 hrs to 1030 hrs in the morning, to beat the heat of day time.               

Chapora Fort – A beautiful church in North Goa, must visit for every tourist. Many Bollywood movies shot here including one of the famous song of the famous movie ‘Di Chahta Hai’. From the top of the Fort you can witness the amazing view of the Anjuna and Vagator beaches.

Basilica of Bom Jesus – A world heritage monument and UNESCO recognized site, it is amongst the most famous places to see in North (Old) Goa and one of the richest facades in Goa. The church was constructed in 16thCentury and preserved the remains of St. Francis Xavier.

Se Cathedral Church – One of the most impressive and largest churches in India, just in front of Basilica of Bom Jesus, it took more than 80 years to get it constructed. With elegant interiors and impressive courtyards, it has one of the most prominent and grand bells in the world. With the beautiful view of surrounding landscapes, the beach of Calangute is a fun place to visit with the whole family.

Calangute Beach – Commonly known as Queen of beaches, famous for its water sports facilities like banana boat, Jet Ski, parasailing, speed boat ride, bumper ride and shopping opportunities for souvenirs, junk jewellery,pawn items and garments at the vibrant market at the beach.

Baga Beach – Around 1-1.5 km away from Calangute beach, is much quieter and less crowded. Baga beach offers best nightlife in Goa and various beach and adventure sports activities to the travelers. Try Tito’s Club at famous Tito’s Lane in the evening for a vibrant night in North Goa.

Travelers Tip: Also visit Mini Baga Beach, while visiting Baga Beach, its secluded and great place for some relaxation.

Miramar Beach – Facing the blue Arabian Sea, this is one of the most beautiful beaches of North Goa. Travelers enjoy walking on the soft sand covered with Palm trees.
