Jordan tour package - 5 nights / 6 days

Day 1: Welcome to Jordan

On arrival at Queen Alia International Airport in Amman, meet with Plan Journeys representative after clearing the custom formalities. Transfer to your hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Amman.

Day 2: City tour of Amman & Jerash

After breakfast in your hotel in Amman, we will take you to the city tour of Amman and visit Archeological Museum, the Folklore Museum, The Citadel and the Amphitheatre and witness the rich culture with magnificent past of Jordan. Later we proceed to visit the ancient Roman city of Jerash and cover soaring hilltop temples,public squares and colonial streets, fountains, baths, city walls with soaring hilltop temples. Come back for an overnight stay in Amman in the evening.

Day 3: Transfer to Petra via Madaba – Mt. Nebo & Kerak

Breakfast in your hotel and proceed to Petra. En route we will visit Madaba, a city best known for the famous 6^th Century Mosaic map of Jerusalem and Holy Land and for its spectacular Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics. Later we will travel towards Mt. Nebo where we will enjoy the beauty of this place before we head south of Jordan to visit Kerak Castle. Kerak Castle is a Crusaders’ Castle built on a triangular plateau dating back to the 12^th century. Arrive Petra and relax.

Day 4: Petra Sightseeing

After breakfast in Petra hotel we will proceed to visit the Nabatean Red Rose city of Petra, one of the 7 world wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Enter the city through 1kmlong narrow gorge called Al Siq, flanked either side by 80m high cliffs. Observe the dazzling colors and formations of the rocks. The site is massive and contains hundreds of elaborated rock-cut tombs, a treasury, roman-style theatres, temples, sacrificial altars and colonnaded streets. Overnight stay in Petra hotel.

Day 5: Wadi Rum and Dead Sea

After breakfast in your hotel, check out and we travel towards southern Jordan and visit Wadi Rum – the Jordanian desert, also called as the Valley of the Moon by the locals. Explore the destination by riding a jeep here and enjoy the natural beauty of Wadi Rum.Proceed to the lowest point on earth – The Dead Sea, and check in. Overnight at your hotel in Dead Sea.

Day 6: Departure from Dead Sea

Breakfast in your hotel in Dead Sea and we will transfer you to the Queen Alia International airport for your flight to onward destination.
