Day 01 : Arrival Kochi/Cochin
On reaching at Kochi airport, our Plan Journeys representative will heartily greet you and you will be transferred to hotel.Hotel check-in, dinner and night stay
Day : 02 Kochi sightseeing
Next day, after breakfast we proceed for a tour of this wonderful Portuguese town. Jewish Synagogue, Fort Cochin and the Spice markets are covered during this sightseeing tour. We return to hotel for lunch. In the evening we enjoy a Kathakali dance performance, arranged by local dancers of the region. Dinner and night stay
Day 03 : Kochi-Kumarakom
Next day after breakfast we set out for Kumarakom, getaway to the famed Kerala backwaters. On reaching, we check into a backwater resort and you are free for the rest of the day. You can choose to soothe your tiredmuscles by taking a relaxing Ayurvedic massage service available at resort.Evening time we proceed to explore the famous bird sanctuary of Kumarakom. Day 04 : Kumarakom
Day 4 you spend at complete leisure at your Kumarakom resort. Laze and relax away your time as much as you want. Night stay in resort
Day 05 : Kumarakom-Alleppey
Next day post breakfast we board the typical Kerala houseboat for the most memorable backwater cruise that takes us to Alleppey. As you move through the winding watery canals, you catch breathtaking sight of the Kerala pastoral life, the villages, the swaying coconut palms surrounding the canal and the deep azure stretching beyond all horizons above you. Day 06 : Alleppey-Kovalam 159kms; 3hrs 59 minutes
On reaching Alleppey, you are transferred to Kovalam. Reach Kovalam and check into hotel. In the evening you can go for strolling on tosome of the major Kovalam beaches like Samudra beach, Hawa beach. Back to hotel and night stay
Day 07 : Kovalam Sightseeing
Next day after breakfast we set out for a short sightseeing tour of Kovalam. Thiruvalam Parasurama Temple, Halcyon castle are covered during the tour. We return to hotel. The evening is left free to rest and relax. Enjoy a scrumptious seafood based dinner and a sound overnight sleep at the hotel.
Day 08 : Kovalam-Trivandrum by road 36mins approx
Next day post breakfast, we leave for Trivandrum. On reaching, we proceed for a short sightseeing of the city. Places covered include Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Attukal Temple, Kowdiar Palace, Napier Museum.Post the short sightseeing of Trivandrum city, you are directly transferred to airport where our representative sees you off and you board your connecting flight for journey back home.
